Since 2006, I have spent more than 2,800 days leading tours and travelling through more than 120 countries. I bring curiosity, calm and a sense of humour to every journey—helping travellers understand where they are while leaving room for the unexpected moments that become the best stories.
My style is relaxed and approachable, with a steady hand when plans change. I work closely with local guides, giving them room to shine while making sure every traveller feels informed, included and well looked after.

Every journey needs a strong plan, but travel rarely follows one perfectly. I handle the details, adapt when circumstances change and keep the group informed without letting logistics take over the experience.
Every group has its own rhythm. I pay attention to pacing, personalities and individual needs, creating space for people to connect while making sure everyone feels included and supported.
Local guides bring the depth and lived knowledge. I give them room to shine, add context where useful and step in whenever needed to keep the experience clear, engaging and on track.
Adventures Abroad gave me my start as a Tour Leader in 2006, and the company has remained the foundation of my life on the road ever since.
Founded in British Columbia in 1987, Adventures Abroad is a Canadian, family-owned tour operator specializing in expert-led, small-group cultural journeys around the world. Groups are deliberately kept small—generally no more than 18 travellers—allowing local guides and Tour Leaders to bring destinations to life with context, flexibility and access to both the celebrated sights and the less obvious places in between.
Over the past 20 years, Adventures Abroad has trusted me to lead tours in more than 120 countries, encouraged me to research and help develop new itineraries, and given me the freedom to bring my own curiosity and personality to the road. Just as importantly, it has introduced me to an extraordinary community of travellers—many of whom I have been fortunate to lead again and again, and now count as friends.
I credit my entire 20-year tour-leading career to Adventures Abroad and to the expertise, patience and support of its team, past and present. Whatever stories I have collected along the way, the company and the people behind it have been an essential part of them.
